At Bristol Myers Squibb, we are inspired by a single vision – transforming patients’ lives through science. In oncology, hematology, immunology and cardiovascular disease – and one of the most diverse and promising pipelines in the industry – each of our passionate colleagues contribute to innovations that drive meaningful change. We bring a human touch to every treatment we pioneer. Join us and make a difference.

The Protein Interactions Group is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Scientist to support our biophysical characterization of unpurified and purified antibody candidates by providing quantitative data that drive decisions in a highly collaborative environment. The candidate will report to the Protein Interactions Group lead to help discover novel therapeutic antibodies. This high-level scientific position is laboratory focused. You will represent the Protein Interactions Group at discovery team meetings for a variety of oncology projects, where you contribute with your biophysical expertise to selecting and optimizing therapeutic antibodies.

1) Perform and analyze kinetic and thermodynamic studies of antigen-antibody interactions using surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and kinetic exclusion assays (KinExA) with sufficient rigor to both evaluate and characterize the antigen-antibody interactions under study.

2) Perform epitope binning studies using SPR.

3) Drive the development of novel biophysical assays.

4) Contribute as an essential and reliable component to help the Protein Interactions Group “drive” projects to a successful conclusion with a high level of motivation.
