To support our continued growth, Tris has an opening in our IT department for a PC Support Tech II. 

Primary duties/responsibilities: 

· Provides technical assistance and support for routine and advanced incoming queries and issues - received via email messages, in person requests, Help Desk Tickets and management requests - related to computer systems, software, hardware, meeting support both on-premises and remote, etc; identifies root cause of service requests, resolves, and promotes actions to prevent reoccurrences 

• Installs, modifies, and repairs computer hardware and software; Runs diagnostic programs to resolve problems

• Investigates and assists with problems related to Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Wi-Fi networks

• Setups and supports telephony and mobile devices (AirWatch\Intune\Apple\Verizon\Vonage)

• Follow ups with customers to ensure issues have been resolved

• Onboards new users including setup of equipment and offboards users, as needed

• Writes training documentation

• Maintains inventory of computer systems (PDQ Inventory and Spreadsheets), phones, and supplies 

Requirements

  

Special knowledge or skills REQUIRED:

· Associates degree or college or technical certification equivalent AND minimum 4 years business experience in helpdesk, IT support or a similar role REQUIRRED

• Ability to lead assigned project or tasks from inception thru completion

• Hands-on, working knowledge of, experience with Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft 365, AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO’s.

• Hands-on, working knowledge of, and experience with, desktop hardware and peripheral units/components and their connectivity in a wired and/or wireless environment, PC and computer terminology, PC operating systems/applications

· Familiarity and understanding of remote control and diagnostics tools, Ticketing systems and Tracking systems, computer imaging, deployment tools (PDQ Deploy)

• Ability to interact with people at various corporate levels
