GreenLight Biosciences seeks Senior Research Associate-Biochemistry in Medford, MA. Develop/troubleshoot assays to quantify target analytes in complex matrices, using modes of detection such as spectrophotometric, fluorescent, immunological, & imaging; develop/execute cell-based assays and maintenance of mammalian cell lines; develop/troubleshoot immunological assays using AlphaLISA and Gyrolab technology; design/execute/analyze assay qualification adhering to ICH guidelines; write SOPs and technical documents; utilize statistical analysis to track assay performance; identify/troubleshoot issues to optimize assays; execute technical transfers of assays; process data with statistical analysis; evaluate new technology; analyze/present experimental results and reports. Reqs: Bach. in Biology or equiv. 1 yr exp.: working with/handling biomolecules, including enzymes, DNA and RNA; method scouting/assay development for enzymatic, plate-based and qPCR assays with various modes of detection (spectrophotometric, fluorescent, immunological, imaging); developing enzyme kinetic activity assays including coupled assays; assays for impurity testing of biopharmaceuticals; working with mammalian cells; assay development of immunological assays including plate-based ELISA assays, AlphaLISA technology, and Gyrolab technology; assay qualification in adherence to ICH guidelines; software for statistical analysis, including Excel, GraphPad Prism, Gyrolab Evaluator (exp can be gained concurrently). Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices, including experience using ELNs and Quality documentation system.
