ROLE SUMMARY

The Sterile Injectables Sr Associate Technical Project Manager will manage of moderate complex technical projects and lead work teams to deliver on process robustness, acceleration and customer satisfaction through innovative solutions to manufacturing site and impact to advance breakthroughs that change patients’ lives.

This position requires manage full project cycle including initiation, planning and execution and closing phase, make sure team member and stakeholder engagement and alignment. 

This position requires effective and direct communication skills, bold leadership and facilitation, and an effortless ability to influence and integrate various colleagues from cross function team. Project scope include but are not limited to Alt API sourcing change, process validation, registration, process improvement and technical transfer.

ROLES AND RESPONSABILITY

As Sr Associate Technical Project Manager, you will lead matrix teams to realize a variety of moderate complex technical projects of GSI Initiatives by the following:

Project Organization

  • Manages multiple projects (timeline, work plans, deliverables) with work team and clearly defined scope at T2 level.

  • Solve moderate complex problems within area of expertise decision impact the work team.

  • Make decision in standard situations; decision impact the work team.

Technical responsibility  

  • Has strong knowledge of the principle and concepts of specific technical area for example, aseptic sterile injectables, Alternative API, biologics or vaccines.

  • Applied technical skills and work team knowledge to achieve assigned work on projects; May act as a technical resource within own work team.

  • Understands the fundamental business driver and use this knowledge in own work.

  • Coordinate with wet and analytical labs in network to execute feasibility and qualification studies.

  • New idea and knowledge are used with increasing frequency.

Interpersonal effectiveness

  • Highly respected colleague; able to develop and maintain an effective working relationship with team members for shared goals.

  • Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills. Ensures timely flow of information to appropriate individuals at T2 level.

  • Encourages the participation and perspective of all work team’s members. Listen to and explains difficult issues to reach shared understanding and build alignment.

  • Pfizer Global Supply Next Gen Project Management Team.

  • R&D Pharmaceutical Sciences.

  • Contract Manufacturing Organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Engineering, Science, or other technology discipline required.  

  • 3+ years' in the Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical preferred) or Life Sciences Experience 

  • Strong communication skills and attention to details.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead small projects with small multi-discipline teams

  • Strong technical writing skills

  • Strong problem-solving skill

  

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Monday to Friday - First Shift.

  • Global Travel may be required, typically 15-25%. 

  • Adaptation of work schedule to accommodate meetings with colleagues in different time zones.
