What You Will Achieve

The Digital Clinical Supply Chain is a team that is dedicated to supporting the digital solutions that enable the clinical supply chain to operate efficiently while also ensuring a superior level of quality and compliance. There are many critical systems within the digital ecosystem that include highly integrated, multi-functional platforms that support thousands of users across Pfizer and the entirety of the clinical portfolio including grant, expanded/ compassionate access studies and Phase I-III programs. Given the critical nature of this ecosystem and the growth in the clinical portfolio, this position will play an important role in ensuring a high level of customer engagement to understand business processes and requirements.

The Engagement Lead will support the Digital Clinical Supply Chain by independently eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and communicating requirements for systems and data related to the clinical supply chain business. The Engagement Lead will analyze business and technical processes to help enhance existing systems, support the GCS Data Marketplace and evaluate any new solutions. This role requires knowledge of requirements elicitation techniques, business process analysis, and software/system development lifecycle principles.

How You Will Achieve It
  • Establish relationships with customers and liaises between the business and technical project team members, ensuring mutual understanding of the customer needs

  • Utilizes specific techniques to elicit requirements from stakeholders, analyzes, organizes, documents, and validates the resulting requirements, and communicates and secures agreement on the requirements across stakeholders
  • Build, validate and update diagrams, models and other artifacts to describe business processes, conceptual information models, organizational structure, business area context and/or system requirements
  • Establishes inspection-ready requirements baseline and traces requirements throughout the project lifecycle, including managing change in requirements over the project lifecycle
  • Provides input on design to ensure that the design meets the requirements
  • Supports the development of the testing plan, supports the execution of UAT testing and ensures that all requirements are met in the final solution
  • Identify areas of risk due to requirements and surface to the project manager
  • Partner with the project manager to assess the impact of changes in requirements on the project scope and timelines
  • In partnership with the project lead, plan and communicate the requirements management approach and change management plan to be used for the project. Provide input to the project work breakdown structure and the overall project plan

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science, supply chain or scientific discipline
  • 5-10 years of experience in project level business analysis using standard requirements business analysis techniques such as brainstorming, interviewing, data analysis, process analysis, and use case development
  • Familiarity with software/solution delivery life cycles
  • Facilitation, organization, presentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations
  • Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving
  • Strong technical writing skills
Nice-to-Have
  • IIBA Business Analysis certification desired
  • Lean Six Sigma certification desired
  • Relevant experience in Information Technology in the context of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge and experience in the clinical domain of Health Sciences, particularly in the supply chain
  • Knowledge of requirement development and management systems desired
  • Knowledge of both waterfall and agile software development methodologies
  • Experience working in a GMP/GCP environment

  

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • May require occasional after hours support, particularly on software release dates
  • May require occasional off-hours meetings with a global client base
