ROLE SUMMARY

This posting is for a position on the QA API SWAT team.  The QA API SWAT team is a focused team whose responsibility is to ensure timely completion of consistent investigations with effective corrective/preventative actions (CAPA).

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will perform investigations, author reports, ensure appropriate CAPAs are implemented, perform real time trending, and effectively communicate the status of investigations.  The candidates will work with manufacturing and the API laboratory and will utilize tools such as Method 1 and Pfizer Human Performance (PHP) in the course of the investigations.  The candidates will also conduct Gemba meetings with the investigation teams.

 The candidate must be able to work independently, with minimal guidance, and consistently produce quality work.  He/she must be able to work in a team environment within own team and interdepartmental teams.   He/she must work under short timelines while maintaining quality work and must have effective written and oral communication.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering or other science related discipline preferred.  Will consider other Bachelors degrees with related chemistry, microbiology and engineering courses taken.

  • Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical experience. 

  • Experience at a manufacturing site.
