ROLE SUMMARY

The Gross to Net Organization (G2N) sits within Global Business Solutions (GBS) and consists of the Chargebacks, Membership, and Medicaid Rebates processes. G2N processes US wholesaler chargeback submissions with an annual volume of 16 million lines totaling $4.5 billion in credits and pays Medicaid rebate claims totaling $1.1 billion annually.

The Analyst will complete tasks and processes within the organization and be responsible for effectively collaborating with colleagues in remote locations of varying positions within Pfizer. While the ability to work independently and perform day to day responsibilities will be required, technical aptitude, seizing accountability, developing stakeholder relationships, and adapting to change will be critical. The Analyst will support G2N projects, G2N reporting, and drive continuous improvement efforts in pursuit of meeting and exceeding G2N objectives and stakeholder expectations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work of own initiative and is a self-starter.

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to complete processing of wholesaler chargeback submissions while maintaining Best In Class metrics.

  • Develop departmental business intelligence, support projects and initiatives and is seen as cooperative and a team player.

  • Resolve escalations from Costa Rica colleagues and identify training opportunities

  • Resolve escalations from customers and follow up timely on customer inquiries. 

  • Make decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure.

  • Initiate, develop, and manage formal relationships with key internal colleagues.

  • Knows personal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, limits and is open to talking about shortcomings.

  • Review process documentation and ensure it is up to date, including Work Instructions, SLAs, RACIs.

  • Review metrics and reporting for department governance while maintaining compliance of all controls and SOPs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a business discipline.

  • 2+ years of Finance or business-related experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities – Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Highly analytical with the ability to translate large amounts of data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations.

  • Change Agile with the ability to easily move from one task to another, juggle multiple tasks at one time and effectively deal with change.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems in an unstructured environment.

  • Strong business acumen and professionalism with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and operations colleagues in all applicable Pfizer Finance and business functional areas.

  • Process oriented with strong organizational and planning skills required to coordinate with business partners both in and out of the organization.

  • Excellent oral, written, and overall communication skills with the ability to conduct meetings and present ideas to groups.

Preferred:

  • Model N Flex and Reltio experience.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

This role requires occasional work off hours and travel to other Pfizer locations.
