We are looking for a Manager Drug Product to lead a team responsible for the industrialization of drug product processes that enable Regeneron's mission to deliver life transforming medications to patients globally. The team supports each drug product unit operation from freeze/thaw through filling and inspection. A key part of this role will be supporting, developing, and mentoring colleagues at various levels within the organization.

As a Manager Drug Product, a typical day might include the following:
  • Leading an engineering and scientific team to develop fully characterized fill processes for new biologic drug products.
  • Supervising all group activities associated with biologics' fill processes including incoming inspection of components, developing and characterizing fill process parameters, and supporting technical transfer, validation, and investigation of internal and external fill processes.
  • Establishing and maintaining a sophisticated fill/finish laboratory to support fill process development activities and development/manufacturing investigations.
  • Managing investigations associated with fill processes to identify root cause(s) and to identify and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Reviewing and/or approving manufacturing documentation associated with the transferred processes.
  • Developing organizational standards and systems for filling processes to meet growing product portfolio.
  • Establishing the standard procedures for fill process development activities and integrating those with other Regeneron business and quality systems.
  • Establishing an internal and external network to stay abreast of current regulatory environment and industry standards.
  • Supporting an innovative mentality within the organization and encouraging development of novel ideas.


This role might be for you if you:
  • Have solid formulation experience in drug product processing, aseptic processing, drug product development, or pharmaceutical development.
  • Have performed hands-on experiments and in-process testing to support process development and product industrialization.
  • Find working in an ambiguous environment with changing priorities exciting.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment but can also take ownership of projects.
  • Are open and receptive to change, while looking for opportunities to continuously improve.
  • Take a proactive stance on resolution of project related issues with tact, diplomacy and composure.
  • Have the vision to understand and engage broader business strategy, work with key department leaders and business partners, and align activities and initiatives.
  • Are open to up to 20% travel.


To be considered for the Manager Drug Product position you should have a BA/BS or higher in materials science, physics, chemistry, engineering or biological sciences and must have the following minimum amounts of relevant experience for each level. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered:
  • Associate Manager - 6+ years of industry experience
  • Manager - 7+ years of industry experience
  • Senior Manager - 8+ years of industry experience

Level will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
