Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will be part of Global Commercial Operations Information Systems (GCOIS) and work as Sr. data engineers responsible for scaling new technology pilots and application innovations into the GCOIS ecosystem to support the commercial business. Furthermore, you will be responsible for leading continuous advancement of RepAI, an application that uses advanced algorithms to dynamically identify high valued customers and allows a sales rep to perform pre-call planning through a custom-built iOS application tailored for our US Field Force.

You will be partnering with various commercial teams (such as field excellence, marketing, data science, data ops) to ensure that we enable innovative and new technologies and applications to deliver against business objectives. You will be part of High productive team of Data/UIs Engineers and be accountable for scalable product design and delivery for the US region.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Data Architects, Business SMEs, and Data Scientists to architect data products and services.
  • Responsible for building broad set of application development and feature engineering skills in team members, Such as Data Storage (AWS S3), Cloud Compute (AWS EC2), Databases and Data Warehouses (AWS Redshift, RDS), Data Engineering and Analytics (Databricks, Spark), Orchestration (Airflow, Jenkins), Request Management (Jira), and mobile and web applications (iOS, Angular)
  • Continuous service improvements by reducing cycle time for delivery of projects and overall run cost of service
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute with estimations and development strategy.
  • Drive cost savings with ownership of software designs and architecture.
  • Perform full stack software design and development to build frameworks, applications, APIs, data pipelines, etc. to meet business use cases

Basic Qualifications

Master's degree

Or

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Information Systems and/or Cloud experience

Or

Associate degree and 4+ years of Information Systems and/or Cloud experience

Or

High school diploma/GED and 8+ years of Information Systems and/or Cloud experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering related fields
  • Experience of managing data at scale, with knowledge of Big Data, Analytics, Reporting, BI, Data Warehousing, and Data Integration technologies
  • Experience architecting and building ETL pipelines; Hands-on experience with SQL, preferred Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Hive SQL
  • Experience working on latest AWS technologies (S3, EC2, Lambda, Integration tools, Redshift, RDS, building large-scale and complex systems)
  • Experience of managing software applications at scale, with knowledge of complex data processing techniques, mobile and web application development, user experience, etc.
  • 1+ years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, Python, Scala, Java and SQL.
  • Understanding of mobile and web development and good UI/UX practices to deliver applications that efficiently and effectively meet the customer needs
  • Experience with Software engineering best-practices, including but not limited to version control (Git, Subversion, etc.), CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven etc.), automated unit testing, Dev Ops
  • Demonstrated high learning agility with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
  • Strong organizational, planning skills and demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across a matrixed organization
  • Strong understanding in one or more - ETL, Batch Processing, APIs, Machine Learning
  • Strong ability to work with both internal and external partners and ability to rally a team around common objectives and goals
