ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the physical and documentation of receipt, storage, and shipment of inventory.
Manage the inflow of material from vendors. Verifying packing slip reflects what’s physically being received and executing system receipts according to our receiving process.
Escalation is expected when discrepancies are identified to both supplier and Sourcing Department
Distribute the inventory according to plan (i.e., each of the manufacturing areas as applicable), and facilitate the availability of such for manufacturing
Activities will include, for example, unboxing, labeling, and storing along with communication to interested parties.
Maintain inventory quality and accuracy by performing cycle counts and correcting discrepancies.
Manage the execution of returns to vendors as directed, which will include boxing, labeling, and arranging logistics.
Assist in Kanban definition and management as assigned and directed.
Responsible for arranging warehouse in an organized fashion, keeping warehouse clean to enable an efficient and safe flow of material for production.
Other duties as assigned.


REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Strong attention to detail.
General process knowledge (Inventory Management and Receipts)
Basic knowledge of Logistics (inbound/outbound) and ability to comprehend Bill of Ladings and Packing Slips
Ability to work in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Working knowledge of MS Excel for inventory tracking purposes.
A high degree of initiative, self-direction, and multi-tasking abilities.
Fast learner and adaptable.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred ·  (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)
3 years of related experience or training with familiarity with inventory and procurement management systems as well as inventory management policies (receiving, shipping, and cycle counting).

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
