Who is Omeros?

Omeros is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company committed to discovering, developing and commercializing small-molecule and protein therapeutics for large-market and orphan indications targeting inflammation, complement-mediated diseases, disorders of the central nervous system and immune-related diseases, including cancers. The company also exclusively possesses a novel antibody-generating platform.

What are your job responsibilities?

  • Participate and aide in the coordination of development and sub-team meetings
  • Support program forecast updates by coordinating with the functional team members
  • Record and distribute meeting agendas, minutes and action items for program development and sub-team meetings, including the follow-up of appropriate action items
  • Aide in the preparation of program materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and functional project managers to ensure ongoing communication and information transfer between key stakeholders
  • Track action items, decisions, risks, and deliverables using standard PM tools
Education, Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required:

  • Requires a BS/MS degree in Biology or Chemistry or a related degree; an advanced degree, MS, Ph. D, MBA, is desired; PMP or equivalent training is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years for an Associate Program Manager, Drug Development or 2 - 5 years for a Program Manager, Drug Development experience in the biopharmaceutical field is required
  • Knowledge of the drug development process
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and experience with general PM software
  • Ability to independently lead cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage concurrent deliverables in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams as well as independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable with ambiguity

Physical Demands Required:

  • Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 40 lbs.
