Who You Are:

BridgeBio has grown rapidly over the past two years and expects to continue the trajectory with the recent success of our drug portfolio. Critical to enabling this continued growth, BridgeBio needs a strong pipeline of talent across our scientific functions. As a Scientific Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying and speaking with top researchers around the country. In addition, you will work with the hiring team to source candidates, create job descriptions, identify existing and emergent scientific talent, and build strong relationships with future BridgeBio team members. To succeed in this role, you will need prior experience working in a laboratory environment, a graduate degree, an ability to quickly assess talent that would be a good fit for BridgeBio, and an ability to build relationships with candidates for current and future roles.

Responsibilities:
  • Your main goal will be to hire top scientific talent into BridgeBio. The specific responsibilities we expect this will entail include:
  • Lead the entire lifecycle recruiting effort for scientific roles
  • Identify leading candidates across scientific roles, from associate up to director level
  • Work with hiring managers to define roles and write job descriptions
  • Collaborate with our recruiting team to come up with novel recruiting ideas
  • Engage candidates to build and maintain relationships using LinkedIn, email, and other methods
  • Maintain an active database of talent within our applicant tracking system (ATS), Lever
  • Understand and be a brand ambassador for Bridgebio’s culture and employee value proposition


Education, Experience & Skills Requirements:
  • You are a curious scientist with solid communication and organizational skills. Some specific characteristics we expect will indicate a high likelihood of success:
  • MS + 2 - 4 years of experience, or PhD + 0 - 2 years of experience
  • Passion for helping patients
  • Ability to quickly identify and assess top talent, especially the attributes required to succeed at BridgeBio
  • Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and potential candidates
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently
  • Organized in collecting and sharing information about candidates
  • Deep understanding of core elements of BridgeBio culture, values, and priorities
