We are seeking a highly-motivated R&D Specialist to join the Oncology & Angiogenesis research group of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Tarrytown, NY. The successful candidate will work on generating novel in vivo mouse models of hematological cancers and the validation of new cancer hematologic cancer targets. This is a great opportunity for a researcher with small animal handling experience and a cancer biology background to contribute to the development of industry-leading medicines.

As a R&D Specialist, a typical day may include the following:

- Implant primary tumor cells or tumor cell lines into mice via various routes (iv, sc)

- Administer drug into mice, sample blood and harvest tissues

- Perform multi-color flow cytometry on human/murine cells and tumor samples

- Maintain and culture tumor cell lines; isolate primary patient tumor cells

- Perform basic molecular biology tasks including Western blot, ELISA etc.

- Analyze data using software including Microsoft Excel, GraphPad Prism, FlowJo etc.

- Maintain accurate electronic notebook records; present data at internal group meetings

We are seeking a highly motivated R&D specialist with a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience or Master's (preferred) degree and at least 2 years of experience to join a highly interactive oncology research team. Prior experience in handling small animals and collecting blood samples is essential. Hands-on experience with flow cytometry is required. Familiarity with basic molecular cloning techniques such as ELISA, Western blot, microscopy or IHC is a plus. Prior experience in oncology or immune oncology is desired. Good verbal and written communication skills.
