What you will do
Lets do this. Lets change the world! The Marketing Senior Manager, HCP Marketing, Lumakras role is critical for Amgens US Oncology Business Unit. It will focus on Biomarker Testing & HCP Engagement Programs. The Sr. Marketing Manager (SMM) will report to the US Commercial Director for Biomarker Testing & Companion Diagnostics (CDx). This position will include the typical HCP promotional responsibilities of comparable SMM HCP lead positions with the additional intrigue of managing new-to-Amgen proprietary customer engagement programs. There is also potential for the SMM to have the opportunity to lead & mentor a Marketing Associate (depending on the candidates experience).
Lumakras is a novel KRAS G12C inhibitor developed for non-small cell lung cancer patients. In order to understand whether Lumakras would be appropriate for a patient, they must be tested to determine whether their tumor is KRAS G12C mutation positive. Today, less than half of lung cancer patients in the community are being tested for all recommended actionable biomarkers. HCP promotions will be on emphasizing the importance of biomarker testing to oncologists and pathologists (a new customer group to Amgen).
A second critical factor to the growth of Lumakras is providing a positive customer experience to HCPs. To this end, Amgen has developed proprietary tools/programs to help drive this engagement in new ways so that Field and Marketing teams can connect with HCPs using the right information at the right time to meet their particular needs.Responsibilities:
Lead overall messaging & promotion to pathologist (Path) & reference labs including core visual aid and core story; lead biomarker testing messaging to oncologist supporting the HCP team
Own Path/Biomarker Testing sections of the Branded Website, Brand P2P content (OL videos and speaker deck on testing/Path integration), SSCG and Media Plan (Path integration), SFMC emails and banners/digital programs that work cross-customer
Provide executional support including program ramp-up, MAC reviews, etc.
Give tactical support to Commercial Director on any appropriate CDx partner projects
Provide strategic direction to Marketing Associate
Operational PO/invoice owner/tracking/management for these programs
HCP ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS
Lead and champion customer insight programs
Lead and maintain a separate program, including evaluating important metrics and effectiveness of its rollout and working with US HCP Commercial Director to plan possible expansions of this offering

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organizationOr
Masters degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organizationOr
Bachelors degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organizationOr
Associates Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organizationOr
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organizationPreferred Qualifications:
2+ years of pharmaceutical/device or healthcare marketing or advertising experience.
Track record of success with MAC (complicated or new-to-Amgen submissions a plus)
Prior oncology launch experience in highly competitive therapeutic areas
Demonstrated analytical skills, familiarity with the uses and limitations of biopharmaceutical data sources and analysis techniques
Experience using patient/claims data sets to generate strategic marketing insights and tactics
Strong ability to translate complex data/information into simple, meaningful insights
Experience in digital marketing and strategic planning
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Exemplary cross functional/ team leadership and collaboration
Successful track record of operating and responding in a daring, nimble, fast-changing market dynamic
Strong project management skills, as well as demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and negotiation
Skilled presenter with experience presenting tactical marketing/sales programs to large groups
