Research Associate I/II- Cell Culture

The candidate selected for the Research Associate I/II position will be involved in projects aimed at the identification, validation and characterization of cultured immune cells for potential therapeutic use. The candidate will be involved in isolating primary cells from peripheral blood and cord blood, including developing new methodologies for potential future therapies.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a basic science (cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering)
  • 1-3 years of practical academic/industry experience with cell culture
  • Aseptic techniques, pipetting, preparation of solutions
  • Knowledge of cell culture and histology techniques
  • Understanding of GLP/GTP
  • Understanding of cGMP production is a plus
  • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communications
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision and in a team environment
  • Self-motivation and willingness to learn advanced techniques
