Cell Therapy Researcher - SRA / Senior Research Associate
Summary: Cutting edge immuno-oncology company near San Francisco with supportive leadership, a novel cell therapy-based platform, and a collaborative work culture seeks a flexible researcher with immunology experience, an interest in immuno-oncology and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Position reports to a mentoring hiring manager who cultivates independence and values initiative, flexibility, and creativity. This multifaceted role will utilize broad cellular immunology lab techniques designing and executing experiments for studies using cell culture, multi-color FACS, and human primary immune cell experience. Will apply and/or build skills in diverse area such as developing novel assays for drug-candidate selection, immune cell expansion, viral production & transduction, cytotoxicity assays, cytokine release & proliferation testing, immune phenotyping, and so on. Will join the multi-disciplined research department of a uniquely team-based organization that promotes professional growth.
Qualifications: MS or BS with lab experience in immune cell biology and cell culture as well as the flexibility to learn and strong analytical skills, verbal & written communication skills. Additional preferred experience (though willing to train): flow cytometry (FACS), in-vitro immune-cell tumor biology, primary immune cell culture, and/or T-cell therapy studies. Ideal role for an immunology researcher with at least cell culture experience who enjoys a fast pace, independence, learning, and working within a highly collaborative team environment.
