We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative scientist to propel the development and implementation of new technologies to enable therapeutic target identification in the area of Infectious Disease Biology. Relying on advanced transgenic and molecular methodologies, this individual will contribute toward Regeneron's mission of discovering and developing innovative therapies to treat infectios.


Develop and implement specific genetic and molecular technologies and technology platforms. These may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Independently design in vitro and in vivo studies and analyze the resulting data.
• Provide scientific and technical supervision to junior staff, including initial training, ongoing instruction, planning detailed procedures for defined projects with timelines, methodological approaches, expected results and necessary resources.
• Survey the literature and conferences for discoveries and findings from the infectious dieases and broader molecular and cellular biology communities.
• Maintain scientific curiosity and familiarity with current advances in emerging technologies and literatures, and apply such knowledge toward development of new or improved research directions.
• Record keeping, write research reports and create presentations.
• Communicate and report study findings, analyses and future directions with senior leadership, administration, and collaborators.
• Coordinate with Regeneron and external collaborator scientists to integrate findings and analyses into new and existing programs.
• Participate in writing manuscripts and coordinating their publication.

The individual will have the opportunity to pursue interesting leads identified using these new methods.


The position requires a minimum of a PhD or MD with 8+ years relevant experience. Additional requirements include:
Expertise in molecular and cell biology, genetically modified mice and disease modeling.

Ability to organize and communicate data and to present to all levels, including supervisors and colleagues in other departments
