Position Description

You are accountable for creating innovative and best-in-class healthcare provider (HCP) engagement strategies with the goal of elevating and driving our Facial Aesthetics portfolio.  Work cross-functionally with brand and agency partners to drive the strategic and systematic engagement of healthcare providers within the Facial Aesthetics product category.  Responsible for coordinating the development and execution of healthcare provider engagement and communication strategies, tactics, and channels resulting in a strong strategic communications platform that supports optimum market penetration of new and existing products and programs.  Member of the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio team with close relations to Product Directors to ensure active alignment with U.S. inline market needs and trends.  Collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Professional Relations, Medical Affairs, Legal, Compliance, and Sales to effectively develop and execute HCP-facing strategy tactics including building the engagement plan and managing advisory boards.  Support the execution of franchise presence at major meetings and orchestrate strategic alliances with major aesthetic national and regional societies.  Support Sales and Marketing in identifying appropriate HCP-facing engagements including product theaters.  Partner with compliance and marketing operations to manage the annual operating plan for facial aesthetics.

 

Main Areas of Responsibilities

•Cross-functional team, agency, and healthcare provider engagement in support of facial aesthetics franchise strategy

•Develop facial aesthetics portfolio healthcare provider engagement plan.  Partner with Professional Relations to actively manage Key Opinion Leader master list and execute Advisory Boards, presence at major meetings, and orchestrate strategic alliances with major aesthetic national and regional societies.

•Represent the Commercial interest for the facial aesthetics franchise within internal R&D and Medical Affairs activities by providing marketing input to R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Clinical, Business Development and Manufacturing functions.  Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure priorities are aligned to support current and future business goals.  

•Provide support to the strategic issues management process by identifying and assessing strategic issues.  Lead, participate, and/or facilitate strategic discussion and manage strategic initiatives, as applicable.

•Develop effective working relationships and capture feedback and guidance from KOLs, broader healthcare providers, and office staff to help drive and elevate Marketing activities in support of the facial aesthetics portfolio.  Attend major conventions and meetings and stays abreast of portfolio science via medical and scientific literature, scientific meetings, and symposia.

•Support Sales and Marketing in identifying appropriate speakers for HCP engagements such as Product Theaters. Partner with compliance and marketing operations to manage the annual operating plan for facial aesthetics.


Qualifications

The following listed requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:

•Bachelor’s degree in related field

•Minimum of 6-8 years of work experience in matrixed organization demonstrating career growth preferably inclusive of 3-5 years of Healthcare/Cosmetics/Pharmaceutical/Device experience within the skincare and/or aesthetics industries. 

•Knowledge and experience of legal and regulatory requirements related to the Cosmetics/Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industries

•Market planning/strategy development experience and the ability to execute key strategies

•Financial/budgetary experience

•Preferred knowledge of traditional cosmetic, medical device and/or pharma marketing areas, including product positioning, marketing plan development and execution, product launch and life-cycle management

•Demonstrated experience in a healthcare provider facing role with proven cross-functional collaboration (R&D, Medical Affairs, and Marketing).
