The Research Associate II, Process Development - Analytical , is responsible for routine analytical sample testing and data analysis in support of process development, improvement, and validation.

Responsibilities
  • Performs routine sample testing and data analysis in support of project objectives from multiple teams.
  • Liaises with other functional groups to plan, prioritize sample submission and testing.
  • Participates in assay troubleshooting, assay qualification and assay onboarding under the supervision of an experienced scientist.
  • Evaluates and summarizes data using analytical methods.
  • Looks for opportunities to implement operation excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Documents experimental procedures and results according to established guidelines.
  • Adhere to all EH&S policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or related scientific discipline or related scientific discipline with 2 years research experience in area or 4 years of equivalent education/experience may be accepted.
  • Experience/knowledge of basic molecular biology and biochemical techniques, including qPCR, ddPCR, nucleic acid isolation, ELISA, HPLC, CE-SDS, and SDS-PAGE. Experience with AAV a plus but not required.
  • Detail oriented with critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a dynamic scientific environment requiring excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


The level of this position will be based on the final candidate's qualifications.
