Job Details

We are seeking a motivated Director level PhD scientist with strong background in molecular and cellular immunology as it relates to vaccine development. The successful candidate will help build a group of scientists and associates to

develop novel platform of molecular based vaccines in collaboration with the therapeutic focus areas of infectious disease, oncology, and immunology etc. Responsibilities include molecular design, in vitro and in vivo validation of these novel vaccine platforms.

As a Director in the Bispecifics Antibodies team, a typical day may include the following:
• Design novel vaccine formats and related technologies
• Validate novel vaccine platforms including in vitro immune cell based assays
• Conduct vaccine efficacy and mechanistic studies in vivo using animal

models with tumor or infectious disease
• Collaborate with scientists from Therapeutic Focus Areas (e.g, Infectious Diseases, Immunology/Inflammation and Oncology etc.),and Preclinical

development functions (e.g. Formulation Development, Process Development &

Preclinical Manufacturing etc.)
• Present data at group meetings and to senior management
• Recruit and supervise scientists and other team members

This role may be for you if:

To be considered for this role, you must have a PhD in immunology, oncology, microbiology or a related field with 10 years of post-doctoral or industry

experience in the relevant fields. We are seeking a Strong background and research experience in immunology or immuno-oncology, or infectious disease. Expertise in various primary immune cell-based assays and multiparameter flow cytometry is required. Working knowledge with diverse sets of animal models is required. Expertise in molecular biology (including molecular design / cloning) is highly desirable.
