The Accounts Receivable Supervisor has formal supervisory responsibilities; coordinates resources and sets daily priorities to meet operational objectives. This role requires excellent organizational skills, advanced excel, ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with customers through written and verbal communication. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be accountable for a mid-size team of inbound collection representative. This role is accountable for monitoring, organizing the day-to-day operations, assigning work, and ensuring the completion of daily tasks within their assigned team, identifying areas of improvement, and handling customer escalation communication. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is an important contributor in implementation of the departments policies and procedures. This position reports to the Manager, Accounts Receivable.

This employee must conduct their work activities in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and Allergan internal requirements, which include compliance with ethics, environmental health and safety, financial, human resources, and general business policies, requirements, and objectives.

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor must be able to do the following task in their job function:

• Oversee daily activities and responsibilities for six – eight Inbound Collections team members.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes- Oxley (SOX) controls
• Ability to work and lead initiatives without day to day supervision.
• Ensure the team is meeting inbound collections metrics, complying with company standards and federal collection laws, and generally performing the essential functions of their position.
• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of team members and other supervisors to maintain inbound metrics
• Daily review of workflow productivity toll and ensure collection escalation procedures is being followed
• Report weekly metrics and sets performance goals, tracks, and evaluates performance including call audits; coaches, develops and trains team
• Responds to customer escalation requests and attention to detail and follow-through on execution
• Solves problems based on practice and precedent
• Ability to take initiative and make decisions
• Fosters relationships and has excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate both internally and externally
• Able to prioritize and manage competing priorities to ensure deadlines are met
• Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 5-7 Years of B2B Collections Experience, preferably in a Healthcare of Pharmaceuticals
• 2 Years Supervisor Experience
• Degree Required; 7 years of experience will be considered in place of degree
• Schedule Flexibility (some nights and weekends based on project deliverables)
• Advanced Excel
