What you will do

Under general supervision, the Associate Quality Control will be part of Sample Management supporting Quality Control. Responsibilities Include:

  • Setup and pull stability samples per procedure

  • Fulfill reserve requests for repeat testing or support related activities

  • Provide client support which includes responding to the service window

  • Equipment CEMS area coordinator

  • Respond during and after hours to temperature chamber alarms while providing on call support during shutdowns

  • Perform monthly equipment cleanings as scheduled

  • Prepare outgoing shipments for both domestic and international destinations. This includes creating a customs invoice along with interactions with the requester and global trade office to ensure all documentation is correct

  • Receive various sample types in LIMS

  • Log non-routine samples in the LIMS system. Responsible to ensure accuracy through review of the logging form and translating the requirements

  • Perform the sample courier pickup while ensuring appropriate delivery per procedural guidelines

  • Water labeling, receiving, and logging

  • Identifying and recommending process improvements

  • Additional responsibilities include participation of planned and ad-hoc key initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree


Associates degree and 4 years of quality experience


High school diploma / GED and 6 years of quality experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent organizational skills and a great attention to detail

  • Ability to make independent decisions based on system output

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated, able to interface effectively with various levels, and able to prioritize to meet deadlines

  • Experience with Sample Manager LIMS

  • Great teammate committed to working in a quality environment
