We are looking for an IT Applications Analyst to join our global team to monitor, maintain, and design and implement changes to multiple instances of electronic laboratory notebooks servicing cross-functional end users. You will be the first line of defense for infrastructure, server, and application issues ensuring system health and performance. You will contribute to creative configuration solutions for business needs from requirements gathering to implementation.

As an IT Applications Analyst, a typical day might include the following:
  • Effectively identifying and resolving system issues and communicating items to management, business process owners, and users
  • Providing end-user support for QC Systems including troubleshooting problems at the application, server, and infrastructure level.
  • Leading IT Applications systems security access and periodic audit trail reviews
  • Performing daily business administrative tasks related to functional support and general user account, roles, access, and privilege administration.
  • Installing systems updates, patches, services packs, and hot fixes.
  • Monitoring applications for readiness, availability, and trend analysis.
  • Identifying and resolving application inconsistencies and defects.
  • Authoring documentation, including, converting User Requirement Specifications to a Detail Design Specification, writing Configuration Test Plans and summary reports
  • Providing SME support and working closely with cross-functional departments on projects to develop, implement and enhance the system, including change control
  • Working with Validation and Quality departments to ensure IT Applications are implemented following development life cycle approach.
  • Coordinating with other IT Applications team members to implement the system in an efficient and integrated manner.
  • Training other IT Applications employees

To be considered for the IT Applications Analyst (QC Systems) position, applicants should have a BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. We may consider an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants with a relevant BA/BS and 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered for Senior IT Applications Analyst. Level will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
