Who You Are:

BridgeBio is looking for a passionate, self-directed Associate Director/Director, Portfolio Finance and Finance Planning Systems (PF & FPS), to join the FP&A team reporting to the VP, Head of FP&A. The Associate Director/Director, PF & FPS, will lead the teamresponsible for implementing, maintaining, and ongoing improvements of financial planning systems. This role will focus on building and optimizing the budgeting, reporting, and forecasting function. The position requires a strong understanding across all functions, particularly Commercial, and will be responsible for the cross-functional consolidation and analyses for senior management. The role requires a strong finance background and technical and creative efforts to navigate financial models, source data, and systems. This role will collaborate across the finance organization, business partners, and executive stakeholders to deliver best-in-class financial planning systems and reporting. This role is critical in adding significant value to our financial planning process by implementing and owning a tool to elevate our finance organization and business partner support.  Due to the high-growth nature of our business, the duties and responsibilities of this position may evolve, so we are looking for someone who has the capacity and desire to grow with the position.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement company-wide best-in-class financial planning tools and processes that are dynamic and fit for purpose. Build a roadmap for the implementation of our financial tools to reflect the current business along with the evolving needs as we grow
  • Develop strong partnerships with functional teams and IT/Consultants to define planning systems strategy, gather business requirements, design, develop, test, train, and execute against project plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and affiliates to ensure the planning tool is optimized for various use cases (revenue, margin, operating expenses, capital expenditures, headcount planning, etc.)
  • Lead and develop a team of high performing finance professional(s)
  • Develop and integrate best practices across our financial planning processes
  • Support and lead a culture of inclusion, diversity, and collaboration across the finance organization


Education, Experience & Skills Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant finance experience in a highly analytical environment at a global biotech or biopharma company
  • Proven experience with implementation and management of planning systems such as Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, SAP, or similar tools
  • Exceptional ability to partner and influence a team effectively and deliver high-quality results that positively impact the business and improve our financial planning processes
  • Deep understanding of financial systems, analytical tools, and languages, including Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, SAP, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of finance-related business processes and internal controls
  • Ability to effectively work with leadership and drive consensus across business and technical teams during design, development, testing, and implementation
  • Ability to effectively document business processes, track and troubleshoot application issues, and train end-users
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication and business partnering skills
  • Self-starter and problem-solver with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and the ability to establish clear priorities and goals
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field; MBA is a plus
