R&D Specialist (Immunology/Infectious Diseases)

Regeneron is currently seeking a motivated R&D Specialist to join our Infectious Diseases team; in an immunology focused technology development group. The individual will be responsible for characterizing cellular immunity and dendritic cell activation/biology in the context of infectious diseases.

As an R&D Specialist, a typical day may include the following:

- Evaluate therapeutics for binding and immunogenicity in a variety of in vitro and in vivo models

- Perform complex cellular (ELISPOT, FluoroSpots, cell killing assays, T-cell activation assays) immunological experiments

- Design and analyze multicolor flow cytometric panels

- Perform cell culture with aseptic techniques

- Develop and troubleshoot new in vitro cellular immune assays

- Dissociate tissues for cellular enrichment or characterization

- Design and execute in vivo studies to assess function and immunogenicity of certain immuno-therapeutics

To be considered for this position, you must have a MS + 2 years of experience or a BS + 5 years of experience. We are seeking proven knowledge in cellular immunological assays, especially ELISPOT and T-cell/B-cell activation assays are required. Skills in cell culture, immunoassays experience with animal handling, fluorescent microscopy, infectious disease background, dendritic cell background, immunology experience are preferred.
