We are looking for a motivated individual to join the Research Management & Operations group to assist in the operational support of R&pD for key areas involving Facilities, Procurement, IT, Legal and enterprise initiatives. This person will have close interaction with end users and stakeholders to keep our scientific efforts moving forward with efficiency while addressing challenges as they arise.

In this role, a typical day may include:
• Work closely with Facilities Asset Management, R&D Finance, and Procurement to manage proper oversight of contracts including timely execution, accurate invoicing, and communication to relevant R&pD stakeholders
• Assist with efforts to supervise lab equipment utilization and recommend efficiency opportunities and space management solutions through use of cores and other asset sharing
• Alongside Facilities and Automation Core identify opportunities for freezer storage and other sample management
• Regularly set up reviews/discussions with cores to understand utilization and potential issues
• Collaborate closely with Facilities Engineering Operations for support of lab space and new technology areas
• Act as the business lead for equipment maintenance contracts and repairs including vetting of asset requirements and new install coordination
• Supervise and manage contract timelines and obstacles with relevant stakeholders while assisting with prioritization
• Serve as Operational representative on various working committees and teams and raise matters as appropriate

To be considered for this role, you must have a Masters Degree and 8 years of proven experience or a Bachelors and 10 years of experience in the sciences. We need someone with a strong understanding of corporate structure and stakeholder relationships.
