Regeneron's Therapeutic Proteins Department is seeking a Scientist to join our Bioanalytical & Biomarker Technology group to build a new technology platform. In this position you will support the discovery and characterization of new drug targets within sophisticated biological matrices. You will have an extensive knowledge of mouse tissue collection and complex extraction and purification, thrive in a team environment and be highly motivated by the opportunity to play a key role in the discovery of new therapeutics.

A Day In the Role if Scientist Might Look Like:
• Provides expertise to projects requiring collecting mouse tissues and extracting potential biomarkers from biological matrices
• Designs and conducts multi-step protein isolation experiments and analyzes data; Documents experiments, results and findings in electronic laboratory notebook
• Presents work at group and department meetings
• Contributes in the writing of technical reports, SOPs, and method protocols, etc
• Coordinates data in high-quality presentation form (graphs, figures, tables, etc.) to support regulatory submissions and peer-reviewed publications

This role requires a degree in Biology, Biochemistry or a related field with postgraduate experience in academia/industry: PhD 0+ years, Masters 5+ years or BS 8+ years. Level and title will be determined based on candidate education level and years of experience. Experience of isolating and quantifying protein targets and biomarkers from cell cultures and tissues preferred. Hands-on experience with collecting tissues (BM, LN, serum et.al.) from mouse preferred.. Experience with processing a large cohort of cell and tissue samples and exposure to mass spectrometry is preferred but not required. Ability to write short python/excel scripts for data analysis is valued. Strong organization, communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills; Enjoys and thrives working in a collaborative, team environment; Passion for learning, developing and implementing new technologies to advance therapeutic antibody discovery.
