Position Summary:

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the CellFX® System, the company’s first commercial product to harness the distinctive advantages of its proprietary Nano-Pulse Stimulation™ (NPS™) technology to treat a variety of applications for which an optimal solution remains unfulfilled. The Senior Product Manager will provide leadership to the organization to drive the evolution of the CellFX System to meet current and future global business opportunities in dermatology and other medical areas. This individual is also responsible for ensuring that current commercial products are continuously improved to optimize clinical results and achieve high satisfaction levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing global product management strategy for the CellFX system, translating customer/market needs into a compelling product vision and market-changing product solutions/iterations which align with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for product planning, developing product road-map and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Gather, prioritize and develop customer requirements and product specifications documents, including software requirements.
  • Partner closely with Engineering/RD/Ops to ensure alignment on technical and business requirements for the realization of products (hardware and software) based on end user experience and feedback during the development process.
  • Ensure optimal customer/KOL interaction in the development process. Apply learnings to current and future product releases. Assess/validate impact of new product concepts including investment needed and expected volume impact.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through all aspects of the product launch process, and measure product success through post-launch product feedback.
  • Serve as champion and subject matter expert on products; lead/support communications and training for products across the organization and to customers, as required.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert for customer experience feedback and customer needs.
  • Track competitive products and emerging technology.
  • Responsible for maintaining sales forecast through collaboration with commercial team and finance.
  • Develop internal and external training material and lead internal and external training activities as required.
  • Lead and manage market research projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing communications (internal and external resources) to direct development of educational and promotional material required to support commercial organization and other corporate needs; materials should reinforce product and brand positioning.
  • Partner with Marketing Communications to develop national and regional tradeshow calendar, participate in key events; lead efforts including messaging, booth and promotional presence.
  • Capacity to learn new technical skills and build clinical acumen for clear communication in all customer-facing materials.
  • Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
  • Ability to work independently, using good judgment, initiative and analytical abilities, to accomplish short and long-range projects, anticipate likely needs, and recommend actions with minimal direction.

Education and Experience:

  • BS or BA in Marketing or technical-related field or equivalent. MBA preferred and a plus.
  • 5+ years technical product management or other relevant experience
  • Experience working in the medical device industry is required.
  • Experience working in the aesthetic or dermatology industry is strongly preferred.

Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:
  • Proven track record of developing, launching and managing products.
  • Demonstrated fiscal performance, meeting top line revenue goals while managing bottom line spend.
  • Demonstrated time management skills.
  • Proven track record of developing, executing and monitoring marketing plan execution.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to link strategy to tactics with faultless execution.
  • Excellent writing, verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Medical Device Design Control documentation a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Project.
  • Ability to work conscientiously and with minimal direction, using good judgment, taking initiative to accomplish short and long-range projects, and recommend actions with minimal direction.
  • Ability to work as a team member, multi-task and be very flexible to adapt to the ever-changing work priorities and requirements of a dynamic, fast growing company.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Overnight and/or international travel may be required
