This role will be part of our Enterprise Commercial Operations (ECO) team that provides strategic and tactical insights to commercial teams and senior leadership to enhance execution and effectiveness across the organization. The incumbent will deliver value to the organization by collecting and analyzing data related to business operations, creating reports and insights with clear storylines and implications, forecasting, product/market modeling, and supporting special projects that promote commercial success. 



Take ownership and accountability for the following responsibilities:  

  • Developing and maintaining strong, cross-functional relationships internally and relationships with external partners to fulfill key responsibilities of the commercial analytics function 

  • Developing and continuously improving reporting and tracking methods, tools, and processes to support effective communication of analytics 

  • Identifying and succinctly communicating key insights from data and trends 

  • Overseeing the creation of reports and dashboards in to support commercial efforts, and managing associated workflows, data feeds, etc.  

  • Conducting marketing analytics, including measurement of key tactics and programs 

  • Providing analytical support for ad hoc projects, strategic initiatives, business development proposals, and other potential investments 

  • Supporting market research projects to ensure outcomes align with forecasts and analytics 

Assist the Director, Commercial Analytics in driving initiatives within ECO in the following areas: 

  • Developing/maintaining the data, methodology, technology and reporting infrastructure that comprises commercial analytics 

  • Facilitating annual budget and monthly forecasting processes 

  • Supporting the development and execution of sales force incentive compensation target setting, measurement and reporting 

  • Providing direction on the use of to support commercial effectiveness by linking commercial strategy to the current and potential capabilities of the platform

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent  

  • Five or more years of experience in sales and marketing analytics or commercial operations in the pharmaceutical industry  

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required 

  • Experience using to support commercial teams 

  • Familiarity with third party industry data sources (e.g., IQVIA Xponent, DDD) and how to leverage them to support commercial execution 

  • Proficiency retrieving and manipulating data within various platforms 

  • Demonstrated ability to be a clear, efficient, and methodical communicator; comfortable presenting to management 

  • Ability to work with vendors and contractors in an ongoing effort to improve the quality of service received and to proactively partner for future business needs 

  • Demonstrated project management, leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills 

  • Demonstrated oral/written communication and organization skills 

  • Demonstrated initiative and integrity
