Summary
Serve as an analytical expert to the HEOR team and supports scientifically rigorous outcomes research and development of documents for external dissemination.

Responsibilities
  • Work with HEOR therapeutic/product lead to develop study protocol and statistical analysis plans for observational studies, health outcomes and economic analyses to support pipeline and marketed products. Create datasets from large healthcare databases of claims and electronic health records and develop statistical programs. Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses and generate results for study reports and publications. Perform QA to ensure validity of study results. Identify issues, troubleshooting gaps, and resolve anomalies.
  • Manage healthcare database licenses acquired by the HEOR team and budget. Update data as needed. Ensure compliance to contractual terms and renew licenses as appropriate. Work with IT to ensure sufficient hardware, software and data security requirements are in place.
  • Work with HEOR therapeutic/product lead to develop study protocols and statistical analysis plans for economic and patient-reported outcomes endpoints in Phase 2, 3 and 4 clinical studies. Analyze HEOR data from clinical studies for inclusion in clinical study reports, value dossiers and publications. Conduct post-hoc analyses of clinical data as necessary to develop value proposition for external stakeholders. Partner with HEOR professionals to develop scientifically rigorous documents for external dissemination.
  • Review study protocols, statistical analysis plans of HEOR data to optimize study design and data collection generated by external research partners. Review study reports and perform QA to ensure validity of study results.
Qualifications:

Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
PhD preferred Advanced degree in biostatistics/relevant field preferred
Experience Qualifications
  • 10 or More Years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting organization. preferred
  • Relevant experience in programming, analysis and interpretation of clinical study and retrospective data. preferred
  • Analytical experience in cardiovascular, pain and oncology preferred
