The Associate Director Commercial Data Strategy will own the development and implementation of our commercial data strategy framework and data acquisition. A prime area of focus will be to innovatively elevate our data utilization in order to achieve the business goals of the Commercial organization. We are seeking an individual a subject matter authority for all current data sources utilized in Commercial as well as own the identification of new sources across the industry's landscape.

A typical day may include the following:
  • Lead brand level data strategy efforts across the business units by assessing and communicating the opportunities to move into an informed future (e.g. multi channel marketing analytics)
  • Set overall direction for commercial data acquisition processes, vision, and engagement model providing industry perspective on how to best optimize
  • Execute data acquisition process consisting of business rules, quality, stewardship, governance and communication
  • Handle the Insights and Analytics data budget inclusive of partnering with the business units to determine annual needs
  • Onboard new and non-standard data sources and integrate with legacy sources within our newly implemented data warehouse and master data management platforms
  • Build and maintain a central catalogue of all data sources with accompanying documentation that outlines how to utilize the data and any caveats
  • Drive the creation of new data strategies to support brand and indication launches

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess the following:

BA/BS required, MA/MS/MBA preferred and a minimum of 7-10 years in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or health care related industry with a minimum of 5 years in health care. Experience in biologic drugs including Oncology, Ophthalmology and Immunology or specialty pharmaceuticals including buy and bill products. Alliance or co-promote experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on working experience with standard data sets in the industry, e.g.: IQVIA data (e.g. Xponent PlanTrak, DDD), Symphony Source, 867 trade data, SPP dispense and patient status data, inclusive of utilizing within business intelligence solutions (e.g. Tableau, SAS, SQL)
