The role is an integral part of our Talent Acquisition Team managed through our global external partner. You will partner directly with our Research and Preclinical Development (R&pD) business units on recruitment strategies that deliver both outstanding scientific staff and experiences across the entire span of a high-volume, full-cycle recruitment program. As a Talent Acquisition Contractor, a typical day might include the following:
• Working independently to source, identify, qualify and deliver candidates for a breadth of R&pD departments, using a variety of creative recruiting methods.
• Partnering with scientific staff and HR Business Partners to identify and clarify job specifications in order to effectively generate top quality scientific candidates and develop recruitment strategies to support current hiring needs and future growth.
• Establishing and building effective relationships across the R&pD organization and within TA / HR, as well as influencing best practice recruitment processes and strategies
• Identifying, engaging with and creating pipelines of external talent who possess the relevant skills and experience to be considered potential candidates for future open positions
• Managing candidate activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS); and engaging in direct sourcing / alternate recruiting methods to identify a diverse slate of candidates for your open requisitions.

• You have the ability to learn quickly and are constantly curious, seeking out new ways of working
• You have excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to provide detailed, insightful updates to candidates, colleagues, and business partners.
• You have demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to act independently to resolve ambiguous situations
• You enjoy working in a collaborative environment

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in Recruiting / Talent Acquisition; direct experience recruiting scientific staff within a Pharmaceutical or Biotech organization is preferred. Experience working within Applicant Tracking Systems, niche job boards & aggregators, LinkedIn Recruiter and enterprise HRIS systems is a plus. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are needed.
