We are currently searching for a Senior Clinical Operations Manager to provide support to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This opportunity is a full-time position with MSC, and is on-site in Rockville, MD.


Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage day to day activities of the clinical research staff, at on- and off-site locations.
  • Preceptor for training staff.
  • Provide technical experience needed to manage the administrative functions within the clinic.
  • Preceptor for training staff.
  • Work to implement the policies and procedures of the program with the clinical research team.
  • Monitor study metrics for reporting.
  • Ensure ICH GCP compliance with execution of protocols, patient enrollment and follow up, adverse event tracking and study activities.
  • Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures within the day-to-day research activities.
  • Coordinate with study monitors.
  • Monitor efficiency of procedures and contribute to the development of SOPs and internal processes.
  • Ensure ICH GCP compliance with execution of protocols, patient enrollment and follow up, adverse event tracking and study activities.
  • Request and initiate the purchase of materials, supplies and equipment.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related discipline. Four (4) years of specialized experience plus a High School diploma is equivalent to a BA/BS degree.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in a related field required. Demonstrates experience working in a clinical environment.
  • Demonstrates experience with program and protocol management, and budget tracking.
