Job Details

Regeneron's Molecular Biology group in the Therapeutic Proteins Department seeks an R&D Associate to support NGS sequencing on MS-NGS platform to discover new therapeutic antibody and other research programs. In this exciting role you will design and generate plasmid, perform quality control analysis, confirmatory sequencing for expression of clone DNA.

A Typical Day in the Role of R&D Associate, Molecular Biology Might Look Like:
• Perform RNA extraction on hybridoma cell, various tissue and preparing NGS library for MiSeq.
• Perform experiments to optimized NGS protocol and establish automation on NGS library preparation.
• Perform quality control analysis.
• Maintain records and keep up databases.
• Provide presentations and verbal update.
• Good interpersonal skills, good planning and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to learn new methods and flexibility to changing priorities.

This role requires a BS or MS in a Scientific Field with 6+ yrs proven experience (BS) or 2+ yrs proven experience (MS). Proven experience with NGS techniques such as, RNA extraction RT-PCR, primer design, Index designing, prepare for NGS library and sequencing are required. Perform single cell NGS, Strong organization and time-management skills highly preferred. Knowledge of sequence analysis tools (Macvector, Sequencher) and web-based database tools such as NCBI, EMBL, etc preferred.
