Scientist, Bioanalytical

We are seeking a highly motivated bioanalytical scientist who can contribute to the development and implementation of state-of-the-art quantitative and qualitative bioanalytical methods to support biopharmaceuticals in discovery and preclinical development pipeline at Regeneron.

A Typical Day In the Role Might Look Like:

This position will be primarily responsible for developing LC-MS based bioanalytical methods in various biological matrices, which will be applied to quantitate biotherapeutic levels, to characterize in vitro stability and in vivo biotransformation, to measure the biomarkers (small molecules, peptide and proteins), or for the characterization of drug candidates and critical reagents. The scientist will interact with chemistry, conjugation, biology, PK and TK group and ensure good experimental design and interpretation to generated critical data to inform decision making, and collaborate across different subject areas to advance antibody drug conjugate (ADC), oligonucleotides and other therapeutics programs. This individual is also expected to explore innovative bioanalytical technologies and emerging platform to meet the needs of an evolving portfolio that may include novel molecular modalities and new therapeutic area. Other duties include detailing experiments, results and findings in electronic notebook, presenting work at the internal/external meetings and keeping general lab and instrument maintenance. Additionally, this individual will serve as bioanalytical representative on cross-functional project teams and effectively manage the prioritization to meet multiple project goals and timelines.

This Role Might Be For You If You Have:
• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related field and 0-6 postdoctoral experience. Industrial experience in bioanalytical aspects of LC-MS based small molecule, biomarkers and biopharmaceutical assay development is preferred.
• Proven expertise and experience in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry is required, with proven track record of successfully developing LC-MS or LC-MS/MS method
• Hands on experience in sample preparation technique (LLE, SPE, Immunocapture, digestion, homogenization etc) and automation platform.
• Scientific curiosity and strong capabilities in experimental design, execution, data interpretation and troubleshooting with limited supervision.
• Ability to think critically and to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, good interpersonal and effective technical writing and veral communication skills.
• Previous experience in mass spectrometry applications in ADC/oligonucleotides analytics, metabolomics and proteomics would be advantageous.
