The Company's technology will broaden the end user experience through improved data quality and simplified workflows to benefit discoveries and diagnosis in healthcare.

We are seeking a Reagent Formulation Technician responsible for fulfilling the manufacturing and QC of reagent consumables, updating daily usage and supplying R&D development needs.  The technician will also be responsible for calibration, validation, and troubleshooting of reagent formulation equipment and instruments.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned manufacturing tasks for reagents and buffers as assigned by the Supervisor/Lead
  • Perform troubleshooting on formulations, filling processes, packaging, analytical techniques
  • Conduct Quality Control procedures for consumables
  • Perform data collection and analysis
  • Perform work order processing to complete products to inventory
  • Execute and improve batch records and SOPs
  • Identify gaps and weaknesses in the SOPs and formulations for finished goods and component materials
  • Maintain a correct inventory of materials through cycle counts, ordering and receipt of materials
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with other scientists, engineers and manufacturing personnel to support R&D and process improvement activities to meet production goals



Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology, or other related life science discipline preferred with 0-2 years of relevant experience in consumable manufacturing (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
  • Experience with SOPs, BRs, WIs
  • Hands on experience with pH, conductivity meter, UV-vis and other standard lab equipment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as on teams, highly organized and flexible
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills (Excel, Word, Confluence, web based or similar programs)
  • Experience with developing and updating BOMs is preferred
  • Experience with formulation, fill, packaging, and chromatography in a laboratory setting is preferred
