OPPORTUNITY

The Account Executive, High-Throughput Diagnostics is responsible for engaging and securing new customers who will be running Mammoth's CLIA lab-based high throughput molecular diagnostic assay products. Key activities for the position include prospecting, qualifying and closing potential customers, setting up their account and partnering with the Field Application Scientist to ensure their success in using our products. This role can be located anywhere in the United States.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Takes a lead role in prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales
    • Understand the scientific and business needs of customers
    • Provides customer feedback and guidance for product development, based on market expectations and needs.
    • Develops KOL relationships to endorse the sales and marketing efforts
    • Develop and implement sales plan to meet revenue and strategic objectives
    • Cultivate and maintain current knowledge of molecular diagnostic market, products, and buying practices
    • Give sales presentations to scientific audiences using product and application knowledge
    • Experience making face to face sales calls in the testing laboratory with relationships already established.
    • Accurately document activities and forecast opportunities in our CRM
    • Coordinate with Field Application Scientists in the strategic selling process for assay sales


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • B.S. in Life Science, Engineering or related field
    • 3+ years sales experience in life science with an emphasis on selling genomics products or services
    • Experience in new product sales and/or early growth markets
    • Travel up to 50% or more may be required for this position pursuant to business needs. Occasional weekend work and travel may be required for conventions and symposiums throughout the year


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Excellent sales skills, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing
    • Experience selling into CLIA molecular diagnostic labs with focus on COVID assays
    • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and using analytics to drive behavior
    • Technical understanding of CRISPR, amplification techniques and high-throughput liquid handling platforms
