Process Development Senior Associate-Virus Upstream Process Development

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this dynamic role you will facilitate developing cell culture-based processes for virus production. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and optimize scalable production processes in cell stacks and in bioreactors, including virus concentration by ultracentrifugation and TFF.
- Operation of batch and fed-batch cell stack and bioreactor processes, characterization and optimization of cell growth, and virus titration using molecular and biological assays
- Draft and execute protocols, SOPs, and document results in technical reports and presentations.
- Become proficient in and actively promote using electronic laboratory notebook and laboratory inventory and tracking systems.
- Collaborate closely with various colleagues inside and outside the team and provide feedback to improve virus processes and methods.

Basic Qualifications:- Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree with 2 years of industry-related experience.
- A Master's degree in Biological Sciences or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with mammalian cell culture, bioreactor operations, and virus production
- Experience in biotechnology or a related industry with hands-on track record of experiments at the bench.
- Ability to execute laboratory experiments and follow procedures with attention to detail.
- Ability to generate documentation of laboratory experiments and data analysis.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and operations.
- Communication and scientific writing skills.
- Ability to execute projects as part of a team or independently.
