What you will do

  • Providing project management support and coordinating achievement of results for Therapeutic Area Safety product subteams as assigned
  • Providing input to ensure alignment of global regulatory and safety plans cross-functionally for teams assigned
  • Providing process implementation support for team assigned
  • Providing project management support for process improvement initiatives
Additional responsibilities of the GPS Product Manager are:
  • Ensure appropriate and consistent project management support is provided to safety teams within the therapeutic area(s) assigned
  • Participates in the creation and maintenance of departmental standard methodologies in project management
  • Work as project manager for Global Patient Safety results, including facilitation of Safety Governance meetings (e.g. Global Safety Team meetings and Safety Analysis Team meetings), tracking of safety results, and management of safety reports and documents
  • Maintain knowledge of therapeutics area safety results and provide comprehensive reports and Dashboards summarizing each products current and future activities
  • Provide project management support to Global Safety Team, including agendas, minutes and action item tracking as needed
  • Identify and create communication and issue identification/resolution plans
  • Create and run timelines for safety results
  • Facilitate Executive Safety Committee (ESC) meeting planning, slide preparation, meeting attendance, and follow-up on action items
  • Collaborate closely with other project management groups to ensure alignment of safety plans with the cross functional product plan.
  • Monitor and, as necessary, confirm data accuracy in safety systems for key results
  • Undertake activities delegated by the QPPV as detailed in the PV System Master File and maintain a state of inspection readiness
  • Be representative and point of contact for Health Authority Inspection and Internal Process Audits within the remit of role and responsibility
  • Performs other duties related to the position as necessary as defined in Standard Operating Procedures or as requested by direct supervisor

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

Or

Masters degree and 3 years of Scientific or Healthcare and/or Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience

Or

Bachelors degree and 5 years of Scientific or Healthcare and/or Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience

Or

Associates degree and 10 years of Scientific or Healthcare and/or Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and Scientific or Healthcare and/or Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Regulatory or Safety experience
  • CAPM or PMP certification
  • Lead multiple major projects in a matrix environment
