  • Allocate products to the distribution points from the manufacturing sites. This responsibility includes selection and use of the most economically efficient transportation mode and managing the outbound shipments to a uniform shipping schedule for each shipping point
  • Develop and execute product allocation plans to ensure an equal and adequate supply of product
  • Monitor control drug queue to ensure compliance with the FDA and to reduce speculativebuying
  • Provide for the timely introduction of new products from manufacturing and coordinate this introduction with the depletion of the old product
  • Re-distribute short dated products among various departments to minimize loss of outdated merchandise
  • Compile and issue Daily Sales report for distribution up through the VP level of the organization
  • Establish distribution schedules which include setting priorities
  • Interact (support role) with Supply Chain Production Planning in response to marketing trends and coordinate activities to meet these sales trends and other market factor such as in-market recalls or back-orders
  • Respond to international product demand by reviewing and approving international requests for stock transfers orders (STOs) and track and report the processing results
  • Analyze historical product data such as sales history and other characteristics to develop statistical reports for distribution

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience), plus 2-3 years related work experience
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills required to communicate with AbbVie customers and internal support organizations in the US
  • Proven problem solving skills and analytical skill that; including basic math
