Allergan Data Labs is on a mission to transform the Allergan Aesthetics beauty business at Abbvie, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Our iconic brands include Botox, CoolSculpting, Juvéderm and more. The medical aesthetics business is ripe for rapid growth and disruption, and we are looking for an experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager, Platform to add to our high performing team to do just that.

Our team has successfully launched a new and innovative technology platform, Allē, which serves millions of consumers, tens of thousands of aesthetics providers and thousands of colleagues throughout the US. Since its launch in November 2020, Allē has delivered curated promotions, personalized experiences and had millions of consumers use it as part of their beauty journey. Now, we are looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager as we prepare to launch a new array of game-changing technologies on our successfully adopted platform.

We’re looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager, Platform who is interested in working within a startup-oriented environment, while having the backing of a very large company. If that’s you, please read on.

As the Sr. Technical Program Manager, Platform, you will report to an Associate Director of Program Management , as well as continuously collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to solve the most important technical problems.

 

You Will

• Facilitate scrum ceremonies of our Platform team, remove impediments and help the teams continue being high performing teams.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to set priorities, define mid and long term strategies and create a roadmap for the teams you are partnering with.
• Manage releases and deliverables 
• Visualize project progress and health to stakeholders
• Develop and own communication plans and cross team infrastructure rollouts
• Define and track key metrics and key performance indicators to drive cross functional execution of engineering initiatives.
• Proactively identity needs of the engineering team and the business and anticipate risk to our infrastructure.
Influence process and decisions to align with higher company initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager or equivalent experience.
2+ years experience  Excellent written & verbal communication, building relationships across the organization, bridging gaps and cross pollinating programs. Experience in building and maintaining large infrastructure systems at scale preferably in AWS. Passionate about continuous improvement and process. Excellent attention to detail and understanding of impact when changes occur to scope or timeline. Results driven, Strong organizational skills to prioritize projects without losing sight of the highest priority items that drive value to the business. Care about who you work with and how work is done. We hire carefully, and the entire team is allowed to take part in evaluating potential hires Programming Experience or work experience managing engineering teams is a huge plus Experience working in a startup environment desired
