We are looking for a LIMS Data Manager to join the Sample Management team. This role provides Data Management support as part of a team to perform delivery of data files through the full Laboratory Data Management (LDM) project life cycle. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining various information technologies to support the LIMS and lab automation systems at our Tarrytown location.

In this role a typical day may include:
  • Interfaces with data standards and data management teams to ensure data standards are defined for each readout in data transfer specification (DTS)
  • Coordinates finalization of data transfer agreements (DTA) and ensures that data is transferred to meet timelines.
  • Contribute toward establishing global data standards and authoring practices and maintain accurate documentation of programs and procedures.
  • Review clinical study protocols, laboratory documents, case report forms, and service provider laboratory scope of work documents for sample handling details.
  • Ensures standardization and harmonization of sample management activities across clinical trials and oversight of sample collection, processing, storage, and reconciliation.
  • Work with teams to manage processes, timelines, workload projection, resources, issue escalation and out-of-scope work.
  • Develop programs for collection, extraction, presentation, or tracking of data.
  • Comprehend and translate clinical team objectives into operational actions and improve available technical platforms to assist in coordination, planning and completing objectives.

To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelors degree in IT, IS, Computer Science or related, and at least 5 years of LIMS experience/interaction. We need someone who has experience working in a heterogeneous IT and Lab Systems environment integrating various software/hardware platforms. Proficient in data collection/reporting/analysis, related processes in using multiple EDC platforms (i.e. Medidata, Medrio, ePRO, LIMs, etc.) Experience with equipment, software, coding and integration of various Lab Automation Systems. Past experience with regulatory inspection readiness and data standards implementation and knowledge of industry and regulatory standards if prefered.
