We are seeking a candidate with a core set of skills around business process integration and analysis from project management to the ability to translate trends, findings, and anomalies into meaningful recommendations. You will make a meaningful impact on our growing business and will have the opportunity to lead and participate in an increasingly complex set of strategic initiatives, including process integration and enhancement.


Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate thought leadership in providing insight to the business domain on scalable solutions aligned to strategy and architecture.
  • Manage strategic projects and processes aimed at achieving scale, driving integration, innovation, or maximizing operational excellence with the help of robust quantitative analysis and sound project management and tracking.
  • Drive transformative projects and initiatives from start to finish by coordinating information, providing support through data analysis, and contributing to overall strategy and performance evaluation. Play an important role in both internal and external communication, with direct report to executive management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all functional areas to understand business processes and their integration with business systems (people, process, and technology). Compile, map, and analyze current processes, infrastructure, and system data to capture business requirements. Document current and future state through interaction with key business users, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Responsible for designing and developing end-to-end process maps, standard operating procedures, and business policy documents in consultation with subject matter experts, business leadership, and legal/regulatory resources.
  • Acts as a liaison between functional areas to elicit, define, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to existing business processes, policies, technology, and information systems to alleviate business issues.
  • Participate and often lead implementation of new business and IT applications and technologies. Ensure requirements and functional design are accurate.
  • Provide direction to process owners regarding requirements and testing results to ensure solutions are fully functional and business unit readiness prior to release.
  • Systematic and thorough testing of all solutions, including test plan creation and issue tracking. Troubleshooting and issue resolutions, including creating and monitoring control plans.
  • Responsible for creating clear, understandable documentation that translates complicated processes into coherent workflows.
  • Develop governance for monitoring, analyzing, and maintaining master data and other key data in various systems throughout the organization.
  • Partner and collaborate with IT and business systems team members to streamline business processes to ensure the quality and integrity of master data.
  • Extract, validate, manipulate, and analyze complex data; derive actionable insights, including trends, patterns, and relationships; and present findings to key stakeholders within the business.

Requirements:

  • B.S. Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Information Technology, or equivalent field of study, with at least 10 years of relevant experience (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)
  • Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Relevant experience in the life science industry is preferred.
  • Broad business acumen in Manufacturing, Finance, Materials Management, Logistics, Information Technology, and Supply Chain Planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify root causes of business and/or workflow problems and determine innovative sources for solutions and opportunities.
  • Experience in process analysis, workflow design and/or process mapping.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Must be a self-starter that enjoys a great deal of freedom of action, innovation, and critical analysis.
  • Experience driving multi-functional operational change. Able to analyze, plan, manage, communicate, and execute change management.
  • Ability to digest complex data and make business recommendations using sound analytical skills.
  • Strong inclination and passion for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications, influencing, and executive presence.

  • Travel may be required up to 15%
