We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working developer to join a team supporting 3D molecule visualization used by scientists worldwide. You will be maintaining and enhancing multiple Qt-based desktop 3D GUI applications, with input from internal and external customers. You will join a small team of scientists and developers who are driven to build visualizations for the next generation of biomolecular modeling. We are passionate about delivering novel and impactful solutions to our customers, who work at the cutting edge of drug discovery. We consider data visualization key to communicating experimental data and computational models. We are skilled Qt, C++, and Python developers who enjoy discussing our science and the state and direction of the field.

 

 

What you should have:

 

  • A bachelor's degree in computational, physical or biological sciences
  • Experience developing in modern scientific languages (Python/C++/etc.)
  • Good people and communication skills
  • The ability to work as a part of a team
  • The ability to work under a development schedule, balancing features with delivery

 

The following are a PLUS, but not required:

 

  • Experience with Qt, PySide2, or 3D Graphics
  • Experience with protein structure and data visualization
  • Knowledge of chemistry or structural biology

 

This position is available at our headquarters in Historic Santa Fe, NM. Relocation assistance will be provided. Job title and compensation will be commensurate with prior experience.
