The Senior Director will be the commercial leader for assigned oncology solid tumor pipeline assets. This includes driving the commercial perspective on all internal teams, including the development team, and effectively communicating with and gaining alignment from leaders on future direction. This role provides strategic leadership and direction to successfully drive the global commercialization activities for assigned assets. Finally, the Senior Director will prepare pipeline assets for move out of New Product Planning into Regeneron's Oncology Commercial Business Unit.

  • Lead the global commercial development and execution of strategy including bispecific antibodies, other oncology assets, and diagnostics that optimize the commercial value of the lead indication, as well as future indications by developing global launch plans, long-term disease strategy and revenue forecasts. Provide leadership to the cross-functional team, as well as represent the commercial perspective on the Strategic Program Development Teams (SPTs).
  • Provide direction and decision making to optimize success at launch across all stages of development; including early positioning, target product profiles, early HEOR and Market Access strategy (including pricing), forecasting, input into optimal Phase II/III/IV design, life-cycle management, pediatric development and scientific / promotional communications, INN/USAN naming protocols and optimizing dosing and delivery strategy.
  • Work with Market Access and HEOR to develop differentiated strategies and value propositions to secure market access.
  • Ensure an market access strategy that spans all product indications, markets and audiences is agreed upon and incorporated into clinical development plan. Develop and handle budgets and long-range plans and resolve best allocation of resources for the brand/indication.
  • Works with legal, regulatory, medical and market research to ensure understanding, alignment and implementation of the global strategy.
  • Represents new products oncology solid tumor portfolio to senior management and other internal/external partners.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required with preference for scientific background, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of biopharmaceutical experience with 12+ in marketing role required.
  • Significant experience in both inline and pipeline marketing required.
  • Prior oncology experience required.
  • Previous experience in new products marketing leadership role is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with US and Global marketing and pre-approval planning of oncology drugs is required; with experience in Pricing and Market Access requirements and strategies for approvals in ex-US markets.
  • Previous product/indication launch experience required. Strong science background with knowledge of immuno-oncology and solid tumors. A plus if experiences includes experience across a broad range of tumor types.
  • Proven teammate with ability to navigate cross functionally.
  • Ability to get along with, influence and provide direction to multiple functions as part of the disease team.
  • Ability to lead full commercialization team (market research, market access, forecasting, commercial operations, strategic intelligence, medical affairs, HEOR, finance, product communications, and regulatory).
  • Effective communication, both written and oral, at all times.
  • Experience in delivering complex messages to various internal and external customers with a track record of effective and influential presentations.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate with senior leadership both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, and to work effectively in complex, constantly evolving environments. Strong project and process leadership skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to optimally prioritize.
  • Ability to conceptualize and articulate a vision for brand that energizes all areas and partners.
