Regeneron is currently seeking a R&D Specialist to join our Infectious Diseases team; in an immunology focused technology development group. The individual will use their knowledge of immunological assays and evaluate immune responses/efficacy in a variety of in vitro and in vivo models in order to contribute to exciting projects.

As an R&D Specialist, a typical day may include the following:
• Design and execute in vivo immunization or viral infection studies
• Perform serological (ELISAs, Ab functional assays) and cellular (ELISPOT, cell killing assays) immunological experiments
• Design and analyze complex multicolor flow cytometric panels
• Evaluate therapeutics for binding and immunogenicity in a variety of in vitro models
• Develop and troubleshoot new in vitro immune assays
• Dissociate tissues for cellular enrichment or characterization

To be considered for this role, you must have a BS with 5+ years of experience or a MS with 3+ years of experience with knowledge in immunological techniques. We are seeking a candidate with strong background in one or more areas of immunology, vaccinology, virology, and/or infectious diseases and be able to perform tasks involved in immunological research in a BSL2 environment. Skills such as Flow Cytometry, ELISAs, ELISpots and functional cellular immune assays, cell culture are required. Preferred to have animal experience, molecular biology techniques (qPCR/sequencing), fluorescence microscopy, infectious disease background, previous experience in virus handling.
