What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world! In this vital role You will provide direction, management; planning and administration of AML6 Drug Substance manufacturing operations to ensure all facility and production requirements are met. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain a high-performing team, collaborate internally with cross-functional teams within Drug Substance facilities at the site, and with network peers, as well as externally with suppliers.
  • Champion the quality culture standards, leadership attributes, critical thinking skills and high reliability mindset in the team and peers. Develop and cultivate a higher-level quality compliance and problem-solving, predict and prevent mindset in the team and partner functions throughout the AML drug substance manufacturing network.
  • Ensure connectivity with the scientific and technical basis for our processes, systems and equipment, as well as the criticality of understanding the details of the execution and systems in place on the production floor.
  • Actively anticipates potential future problems being pragmatic & proactive in taking actions.
  • Manages thru ambiguity to drive standardization and collaborate with multiple functional areas within site and network.

What we expect of you

Doctorate degree and 4 years of GMP regulated industry experience

Or

Masters degree and 8 years of GMP regulated industry experience

Or

Bachelors degree and 10 years of GMP regulated industry experience

And

4 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources.

Beyond that, additional preferred qualifications are:
  • Educational background in Life Sciences and/or Engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in drug substance manufacturing processes, products, equipment, cleaning, automation, validation, & compliance.
  • Extensive leadership experience of large-scale operations and directly managing and developing complex teams and/or a technical organization.
  • Strong quality and regulatory knowledge with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong communication and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Proficient in English verbal communication skills with a strong report writing and presentation skills.
