Our primary focus at Cannon Quality Group, LLC, is to aid in getting new safe medical devices into the clinic fast so we can help improve the lives of patients. In addition to developing right sized Quality Systems for companies we also provide quality team resources to support the Quality System. This can include single system support, project support, up to and including full Quality System Management support.

PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Quality Systems Trainer is responsible for training and developing CQG’s Quality System Associates, Document Control and Jr. Quality Engineer team members to support the needs of clients and client support teams. This is an internal role whose main purpose is to develop a reliable, consistent team of people to perform and support the client delivery leads. A key aspect of this internal support role is to ensuring that CQG processes are consistently being followed, Quality System Associates, Document Control and Jr. QE support team members are trained and reliably support the client support teams. This role is also responsible for evolving CQG processes as needed to continue to meet the company’s priorities. Additionally, it is key that client deliverables performed by this team are met in a timely manner compliant with the Client delivery lead’s expectations.
As Quality Systems Trainer, you will be primarily responsible for training CQG’s internal Quality System, Document Control and Jr. Quality Engineer support team as noted above. You will be focused on auditing internal processes, communications, and policies on behalf of CQG. This role will ensure continual quality improvement within the company. Successful Candidates will be highly collaborative, employee-centric, business-focused, and customer service oriented. As Quality System Trainer, you will be charged with learning CQG processes, client processes, assessing possible client delivery gaps, and providing solutions. This role will also be responsible for supporting and facilitating on-going training and monitoring of Quality System, Document Control and Jr. Quality Engineer team members, including the on-boarding of new team members in these roles. Responsibilities include, assessing a current system in place and making the appropriate recommendations for change, taking into consideration the variability in execution across numerous client delivery lead’s with ranging client goals, business stages and the budgets

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating training plans/programs for Quality System Associate, Document Control and Jr. Quality Engineer team members
Support and facilitate on-going training of Quality System Associate, Document Control and Jr. Quality Engineer team members around quality system procedures, processes and goals
Establish and maintain quality assurance programs, processes, procedures and controls to maintain compliance
Generate or update CQG desktop procedures to define and improve internal processes
Develop Quality staff to achieve organizational objectives and meet client project needs; Coach and mentor staff
Assess potential gaps in internal processes and client deliverables, identify improvements and implement to achieve compliance
Work with the client delivery lead’s to ensure to grow a support team to support their client needs.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years experience in ISO 13485 regulated environment
5+ years of quality assurance and quality managerial experience
Ability to express yourself clearly and concisely
Positive, results-oriented, and energetic team player
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle complex issues and exercise judgement, based on experience, with minimal oversight
Motivated self-starter, ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to prioritize and manage to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently
Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form
Ability to follow established policies and procedures and comply with regulatory requirements
Ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
Ability to point out issues so that they can be appropriately addressed
Ability and willingness to mentor other quality team members
