The Impact You’ll Make

• Streamline our laboratory instrumentation and support systems allowing scientists to work more productively.

• Educate and train a growing team of instrument support specialists and ensure our scientists and technicians understand how to get the most from their instrumentation.

• Coordinate with our vendors, our laboratory managers, and our automation developers to ensure our world class laboratories continue to operate at peak efficiency.

• Create new instrument qualification and predictive maintenance routines based on our massive operational data sets.

The Team You’ll Join 

Recursion’s Automation and Information Management Team within the Technology organization. This team's mission is to automate the physical and data workflows within the laboratories that drive our drug discovery engine. Through automation we improve quality, speed, and scale of our data generation systems. We are responsible for the implementation, continuous improvement, and maintenance of a fleet of automated work cells processing 96-1536 well SBS standard microplates with plate washers, fluorimeters, acoustic dispensers, automated incubators, plate sealers and pealers, etc. As a leading member of this team you will help us build out robust service and support infrastructure for our growing world-class laboratories.

The Experience You’ll Need

• Troubleshooting and repairing complex computer-controlled electromechanical instrumentation in a laboratory environment
• Developing process for Ticketing, Asset tracking, and preventive maintenance systems
• Motivating and managing a high growth team to provide excellent customer service
• Bachelor’s degree in technical field with 4+ years working in service and support of complex automated systems.
