Position Summary:

The Product Manager, Clinical Applications will support the prioritization and development of New Clinical Applications from concept through launch and drive continued utilization and growth post-launch. The Product Manager will provide leadership for the new clinical application strategy and roadmap through identification and assessment of new opportunities and development of new application procedure profiles based on market needs. The Product manager is also responsible for driving utilization of new clinical applications worldwide through launch planning and preparation, and development of strategies for continued growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of business cases for clinical applications and prioritization of opportunities.
  • Design and implement market research activities to support investigation of potential new clinical applications.
  • Partner with Product Development teams to define marketing requirement and product specifications for new consumable products (e.g., treatment tips) and treatment settings related to clinical applications, and serve as marketing lead.
  • Partner with clinical affairs teams to align commercial needs with clinical study design and define data analysis needs for education of the scientific community and sales team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for new and existing clinical applications for internal and external constituencies.
  • Support development of content for scientific and clinical advisory meetings, abstract submissions, physician presentations and publication manuscripts, working with internal experts as well as key opinion leaders in the field.
  • Partner with Marketing Communications, Sales and Product to develop sales and marketing collateral to support launch of new applications, and ongoing customer education to drive utilization and procedure optimization.
  • Educate sales team on new clinical applications, including disease state and pathology, market opportunity, supporting clinical data and appropriate procedural considerations.
  • Partner with sales and customer service teams to monitor utilization and capture customer feedback to ensure current commercial applications are continually optimized, and disseminate best practices to CellFX customer base.
  • Prepare content for user guides and other labelling as required.
  • Support 510K, CE, and other regulatory submissions.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • BS in science, engineering or related field required. M.S. or M.B.A preferred.
  • 4+ years, 2+ years with M.S. or M.B.A, relevant commercial experience in medical devices or life sciences industry, dermatology preferred.
  • 2+ years in Marketing role(s).
  • Experience working directly with clinicians required.
  • Experience working with medical device capital equipment preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards, including FDA, required.


Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:
  • Proficient knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, especially the ability to communicate difficult or abstract concepts.
  • Excels at critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Ability to work conscientiously and with minimal direction, using good judgment, taking initiative to accomplish short and long-range projects, and recommend actions with minimal direction.
  • Ability to work as a cross-functional team member, multi-task and be very flexible to adapt to the everchanging work priorities and requirements of a dynamic, fast growing company.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. Overnight and/or international travel may be required.
  • Ability to lift 10-15 pounds.
